OUR STORY

“The Pablo Requena Foundation” has been created following the death (due to Covid.19) of our much-loved friend and colleague

Mr. Pablo Requena Barrientos.

The four acting members of the foundation are all friends and teaching colleagues from Geneva.

Mr. Requena was an English teacher at Moser School in Geneva as well as an active member of various charities and overall lover of life.  Throughout his career and life, he transmitted his passion for teaching and his commitment to helping others through his very own unique and dynamic approach.  He will always be remembered as a person full of joy, love and charisma.

Mr. Requena was of Guatemalan origin. He supported and accompanied the “Entre Amigos” project of the association "Pastoral Social – Cáritas, Diócesis de La Verapaz" which helps many families and children in difficulty in Guatemala.

For this reason, in order to support and continue the charitable work that he was particularly fond of, we have created the "Pablo Requena Foundation".

​

In memory of Pablo, his love for his country, for life and his great generosity, we wish to continue his work and allow his light to shine in those that he will continue to help.
